An extraordinary session of the lower house of the Czech parliament to pass a vote of no confidence in the government is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17.
According to the Idnes portal, the Czech cabinet will face the fourth attempt by the opposition to pass a vote of no confidence. To pass it, 50 votes are enough, and about 64 parliamentarians have signed the motion.
The reason for the extraordinary session of the Chamber of Deputies was the scandal with the acceptance of the Czech Ministry of Justice as a gift of bitcoins worth about 40 million euros, after which the post of head of the ministry left Pavel Blažek.
The discussion of the issue may take place for two days - June 17 and 18.
