Saudi Arabia's head of government and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud will not attend the G7 summit in Italy.
According to SPA, Al Saud sent a thank-you telegram to Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni for receiving an invitation to participate in the event. The text of the telegram contained regret of the Crown Prince that he will not be able to participate in the event due to obligations related to the supervision of works in the Hajj season.
Earlier it became known that the leaders of the G7 countries will call on China to stop supporting the Russian Federation in the Ukrainian conflict.
Recall that Zelensky arrived with an unannounced visit to Saudi Arabia. The agreement between the United States and Riyadh depends on the war in the Gaza Strip.
