The Beijing Health Committee reported on Saturday, June 11, that a new outbreak of coronavirus infection in the city had been detected. The outbreak was reported in the northeastern part of Beijing in the Chaoyang district, which is home to many expatriates.
One of the local bars has become a hotbed of infection. Sixty-one people infected with the coronavirus who visited this bar have been identified. Twenty-five of them were asymptomatic covid carriers.
Strict anti-epidemiological requirements have been imposed in the Chaoyang district. All the people who have been in this bar in recent days have been sent to quarantine. The places of entertainment are closed.
