Reuters reports that Vladimir Zelenski is meeting with Pope Francis on Saturday
The Ukrainian president is due to meet the religious leader at the Vatican, the report said.
The planned trip, which has not been officially announced, comes just two weeks after the Pope said the Vatican was engaged in a peacekeeping mission to try to end the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
The two leaders have spoken several times on the phone since the start of the SWO. During this conversation, the Pope reportedly expressed his sorrow and solidarity.
