After the rains, some flights were diverted to Tbilisi airport.
Kutaisi airport has reopened after heavy rains. It was closed the day before due to bad weather. Now it accepts flights in the usual mode. Such a message came from the representatives of the airport.
Last Monday it became known that water seeped into several rooms of the air harbor due to rains. As Sputnik-Georgia writes, citing the words of eyewitnesses, the inner part of the roof collapsed in one of the halls.
"Kutaisi airport was opened earlier than planned thanks to the prompt work of the Georgian Airports Association," the report said.
The Kutaisi air harbor said that at 04:00 the planes left for Dortmund and Barcelona. At 07:30 they departed for Thessaloniki.
