Former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro announced his imminent return home from the United States.
According to CNN Brazil, Bolsonaro was undergoing medical examinations at AdventHealth Celebration in America after he was stabbed in the stomach during a meeting with voters four years ago.
Bolsonaro said he had planned to stay in the U.S. until the end of January, but now intends to speed up his return. In Brazil, doctors are more familiar with the former leader's problem with intestinal obstruction caused by the injury.
He added that he had been spending time with his family, but was forced to return to Brazil because of the situation in the capital. In Brazil, the Senate demands that Bolsonaro be wanted and extradited because of the riots.
