U.S. President Joe Biden has announced his intention to run for president, an election that will take place in 2024. He told reporters at the White House when asked when to expect a final decision on re-election to a second term.
"I think we'll make that decision early next year. But at this point I plan to do that," Joe Biden said.
He said he intended to fight for re-election regardless of the outcome of the U.S. congressional election or the intentions of his predecessor, Donald Trump.
