91-year-old Sir Evelyn Robert Adrian de Rothschild (the oldest member of the Rothschild dynasty) died in Britain . The death of the famous financier was reported by the Press Association of Britain with reference to a statement from his family.
He died peacefully in his home.
Evelyn de Rothschild was known for having succeeded in uniting divisions of his family's banking group located in France and the United Kingdom. He also served for many years as a financial consultant to Queen Elizabeth II.
Since 1976, he headed the London branch of NM Rothschild & Sons. At the time, he was 27 years old. He retired in 2003.
