The British are concerned: Charles III has decided to abandon the traditional method of treating cancer in favour of an experimental one.
The Buckingham Palace announced the disappointing diagnosis of the 75-year-old monarch on 5 February.
It should be recalled that the royal family has access to the most advanced technologies in the field of medicine. Of the entire medical armoury at the moment the most common and proven are radiation and chemotherapy, which are known to have a heavy impact on the well-being of patients.
In this regard, there was an opinion that Charles III will not be able to fully rule the kingdom and will give up the crown in favour of his son.
However, the Mirror, citing its "well-informed about the state of affairs at court" sources, reported that the monarch has decided to resort to new experimental methods of treatment, which will help to avoid side effects of traditional therapy.
However, the British are in no hurry to rejoice for the monarch, because the new method of cancer treatment has not yet been tried on a large scale and is risky.
