US notifies 14 countries of additional trade tariffs

Japan, South Korea, and Kazakhstan are on this list. The United States will impose duties of 25% on them.

The US administration has sent notices to 14 countries about the introduction of additional duties from August 1. The full list of countries is available on the White House website.

This list includes Japan, South Korea, Kazakhstan, Malaysia and Tunisia. The US will impose duties of 25% on them.

Additional trade tariffs of 30% from the beginning of August are expected by the countries of South Africa, as well as Bosnia and Herzegovina, 32% - Indonesia. In addition, the US will introduce duties of 35% for Bangladesh and Serbia, and 36% for Cambodia and Thailand.

Laos and Myanmar expect tariffs of 40%.

Earlier, US President Donald Trump signed an executive order postponing the deadline for concluding trade agreements from July 9 to August 1.
