The United States National Space Intelligence Agency has ordered thousands of spy satellites from Starlink.
Entrepreneur Ilon Musk's company, which has thousands of satellites in space, began providing commercial services to many states as early as four years ago. The conflict in Ukraine has shown that such technologies have a dual and effective purpose.
In February, Ukrainian forces began complaining of malfunctions with Starlink satellites that they could procure through other countries.
According to The War Zone, the new satellites will be equipped with special radars that feature GMTI mode. It will help track moving objects. The technology was called the "Holy Grail" of strategic intelligence.
