The Russian minister will stay in China until April 9.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov arrived on April 8 on an official visit to the People's Republic of China.
He will stay in Beijing until April 9 and hold talks with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
According to Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, the Russian and Chinese foreign ministries will discuss bilateral cooperation, as well as cooperation in the G20, the SCO, BRICS and the UN.
Regional issues, in particular the situation in the Asia-Pacific region, will also be touched upon. The topic of discussion will be the conflict in Ukraine.
We shall remind you that Sergey Lavrov last visited China in October last year, when Beijing hosted the One Belt, One Road International Forum.
