An Uzbekistan Airways plane landed in Tashkent in an emergency. It was flying from Moscow to Namangan. This information was announced by representatives of Uzbekistan Airports. There were 171 passengers on board the plane at the time of landing.
"We had to do it because of a pregnant woman. She started having contractions right on the plane. The pilots decided to land the airliner at the nearest airport," the air carrier explained.
After landing, the woman was taken to a hospital with an ambulance.
