Berlin police in May checked the posts and comments made by its employees on social networks for articles and messages that incite hatred.
It turned out that one of the officers, who serves on the security police, wrote in 2022 that radical eco-activists should be "rounded up and taken to the forest near Stalingrad." He also spoke harshly about refugees in Germany, and criticized the country's authorities for supporting Ukraine and granting asylum to Ukrainians.
