Italian ex-nurse fined €500,000 for fictitious measles vaccinations

A court in Italy has fined a former nurse who gave some 8,000 fictitious measles vaccinations €500,000.

According to representatives of the local prosecutor's office, the woman's patients were mostly minors. Law enforcement officials found that the nurse only pretended to administer measles medication, thereby eliminating the expected immune response.

At the same time, the vaccinated people did not know that they were in fact unprotected against the disease.

Recall that the day before in Crimea medical workers were involved in a criminal case for falsification of certificates of vaccination against COVID-19.
