The United Kingdom announced new sanctions against Belarus because of its support of the Russian Armed Forces' military special operation in Ukraine. Exports of refined oil products and luxury goods will be banned.
As follows from the statement of the British authorities, published on the official website, a ban on the export of refined oil products to Belarus will take effect on July 5, 2022.
In addition, restrictions are imposed on the supply of luxury goods and high-tech components from Great Britain. It is also prohibited to import steel and iron from Belarus.
According to the authorities of the United Kingdom, the anti-Belarusian sanctions are imposed on products worth a total of 60 million pounds.
