The Czech Republic has one of the largest gas storage facilities in Europe. This was stated by the country's Prime Minister Piotr Fiala.

The Prime Minister specified that in case of refusal to supply Russian fuel, gas reserves will be enough to supply national consumers for 30 days.

Fiala also said that since the beginning of the special operation in Ukraine, more than 20,000 refugees have come to Poland. The Prime Minister believes that their number will grow. To help Ukrainian refugees, the authorities intend to send 1.8 billion crowns (about $78 million) from the state budget.

Earlier, the UN reported that 1 million people left Ukraine after Russia launched a special operation.
