A ban on cars with Russian license plates entering the country will take effect in Bulgaria from the evening of October 2, said the head of the border police Anton Zlatanov.
According to him, the Bulgarian authorities were very active from Thursday until yesterday. By the end of Monday afternoon, the ban on the entry of Russian cars will begin to take effect, according to the publication "24 hours".
At the same time, the ban also applies to cargo.
Zlatanov added that not many cars enter the country.
Earlier, the EC published an explanation that the sanctions imposed by the Council of the EU against the Russian Federation last year, apply to personal vehicles with Russian license plates.
Recall that many European countries have banned the entry of Russian cars. Among them are Poland and Finland.
