Poland put fighter jets in the air on Monday morning, September 2, because of the activity of Russian long-range aviation. This was reported by the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces.
The agency said in a statement that the necessary measures have been taken to ensure the safety of the country's airspace.
The Polish command emphasized that “increased noise levels” were possible in the southeastern part of the country.
Late last month, the Polish command put fighter jets in the air, citing increased activity of long-range aviation of the Russian Armed Forces.
The Russian Defense Ministry said that the flights of military aircraft are carried out in accordance with international rules.
