Britain is no longer a profitable trading partner for the United States. This was reported by the British edition of the Daily Express.

The publication points out that Britain is stuck between the United States and the European Union in a trade war. British Secretary of State for International Trade Kemi Badenoch wanted to influence the Biden administration's policy on environmental subsidies.

"Badenoch raised the issue in conversations with U.S. Ambassador Jane Hartley, Secretary Raimondo, and with members of the Biden administration," the article said.

According to a number of industries, Biden's anti-inflationary policies have points that are dangerous to maintaining healthy competition. As a result, manufacturers and suppliers could be at risk.

At the same time, a representative of one of the major U.S. business groups said that the U.S. will not take into account Britain's interests in its economic policy.

"Britain and the U.S. are close allies, but the U.S. does not currently view the United Kingdom as an interesting trading partner," the article concluded.
