Russia and Iran signed an agreement under which tour operators can receive and send groups of travelers without visas.
As told in the Ministry of Tourism and Culture of the Astrakhan region in such groups may be from 5 to 50 people. In this case, the tourist does not need to prepare any documents, it's enough to have only a passport.
In this case, the simplified system allows you to stay on the territory of Iran up to 15 days.
Travel agencies may apply for sending tourists to Iran until October 15, 2022. The details can be found on the site of the Ministry of Tourism of the Astrakhan region.
