Sales of tour operators increased by 2.5 times.
Since the beginning of the second wave of the program, more than 100,000 Russian citizens have purchased tourist vouchers with cashback.
This was announced by the head of the Federal Tourism Agency Zarina Doguzova.
“Tourist cashback started very actively! During the first days, about 100 thousand people took advantage of the program. People bought tours and booked hotels for more than 2.5 billion rubles. Cashback amounted to about 500 million rubles,” Doguzova said.
It is noted that booking is carried out both for the velvet season and for ski resorts in winter. Sanatoriums and cruises have become popular among Russian tourists.
Since August 25, there has been an increase in sales from tour operators by 2.5 times.
Recall that the tourist cashback program is valid when buying a tour of three nights and through payment with the Mir card. 20% of the trip is returned to the card within five working days.
