A new hotel, presented as «extreme accommodation», has opened in the Kamchatka region. It is called «Aurora» and is located in the geographical center of Kamchatka, in Atlasovsky lesnichestvo of Milkovsky district, close to the regional capital.
This hotel offers 16 rooms with panoramic windows, located at a height of three meters on a platform made of larch.
Ideas for the concept of the hotel were taken from the traditions of the Itelmen, Koryaks, and the construction methods used in ancient Russia. It is equipped with autonomous solar-powered electricity, water and sewage systems, but has no mobile network connection, although Wi-Fi access is available.
The hotel attracts guests with a variety of activities such as author's cuisine, a bathhouse, a lounge and a campfire area. Tourists are offered various tours including "DJ set in the taiga", "mafia game in the cozy winter garden" and "gourmet breakfast with champagne", promising them "Kamchatka drive" and "Kamchatka zen".
The price of accommodation attracts special attention. The hotel offers to rent "units" (groups of rooms) or the whole hotel. For example, renting the whole hotel for two nights costs only 1 million 20 thousand rubles, and for six nights - 5 million 760 thousand rubles. However, the cost of transfers, alcohol, tours and fishing is paid separately. To access the hotel will require about 6 hours by car from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, and you can also fly by helicopter.
