Strict entry rules for international travelers to Greece will be extended until February 7, according to the country's Civil Aviation Authority.

Thus, the requirement to present a negative result of PCR test will continue to apply to all tourists regardless of vaccination. Also, all travelers over five years of age are required to undergo testing for coronavirus no earlier than 72 hours before departure.

The necessity to fill in the passenger locator form remains and the received QR code will have to be shown while checking in for the flight.

Citizens of a number of countries, including Russians, must take an express test or PCR test for coronavirus upon arrival in Greece, regardless of vaccination status. The result of this test is usually available within a few hours. Tourists who test positive for COVID-19 will be quarantined for five days. The isolation will be extended if the symptoms of the illness do not go away.
