10 Russian cities with foreign flavour are named.
The ranking was compiled by analysts from the Avito Real Estate portal. These cities can become an alternative to traveling abroad, especially during the pandemic of coronavirus.
In first place, the experts put St. Petersburg. It is often compared to Venice, but the climate, canals and spring tulips are more akin to Amsterdam.
In second place is Kaliningrad. It is the home to Prussian princes and princesses, which retains austere Prussian charm centuries later: brick kirches, half-timbered facades, the world's tastiest klops and marzipan.
In third place is Kislovodsk. This is one of the most popular Russian resorts. The local waters have a restorative effect on the body and also help in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
In addition, in the top 10 are Yoshkar-Ola, Kazan, Vyborg, Rybinsk, Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, Krasnaya Polyana and Sortavala.
