On January 22, the Swiss authorities announced their readiness to cancel the strict sanitary requirements for tourists entering the country, which consist of passing PCR tests.

So, since January 22, fully vaccinated tourists will not be required to have a negative PCR test or antigen test before entering Switzerland.

However, foreigners will continue to fill out a special passenger search form before flying to Switzerland. The requirement to take additional tests for coronavirus on the fourth and seventh day of stay in the country will also be eliminated.

It is worth emphasizing that the innovation applies to tourists who have been vaccinated against COVID-19. Unvaccinated and partially vaccinated travelers will not be able to enter Switzerland.

However, it should be noted that the Russian vaccine "Sputnik V" in Switzerland is not yet recognized, so Russian tourists are unlikely to be able to visit this country in the near future.
