In order to fly without a roommate using two seats, a passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight got tricky. He made a human-like figure out of his clothes and placed it on the neighboring seat.

As a result, other passengers, believing that both seats were occupied, did not bother the enterprising tourist, reports The Sun.

A neighboring empty seat on an airplane, which allows a passenger to sit as comfortably as possible and fly in comfort, is most often a rarity as overbookers try to fill the board. In the case of Southwest Airlines, the passenger's ploy worked because the airline utilizes an open seat policy, so passengers are free to choose their own seat.

Earlier, a passenger on an airplane that was forced to land in Ulan-Ude suspected the pilots of deception.
