Tourists from Ekaterinburg have identified the most popular tourist destinations for their spring and summer vacations. The Urals Tourism Association said that at the moment there is traditionally a high demand for travel to Turkey, Egypt and the UAE.
According to Oxana Chuvakova, a representative of the tour operator FUN&SUN, this year the trend in demand for tours has remained at the level of 2022. The Ekaterinburg citizens are planning to spend the coming May holidays at the seaside.
Chuvakova added that the demand for summer vacations is shifting to the UAE and Egypt. In addition, demand continues to grow for tourist destinations in Southeast Asia.
It is also noted that due to sanctions at the moment the popularity of traveling to the neighboring countries is growing among tourists. Thus, Russians go to shopping tours in Kazakhstan and Belarus.
