"Lenta.ru" reports that, according to the travel service Tvil.ru, Kostroma was recognized by Russians as the city with the most delicious cheese. The material says that Kostroma is the Russian capital of cheese and is best known for a type of cheese that is similar to gouda. According to the survey, 30% of Russians believe that the most delicious cheese is made there.

At the same time, every fifth of respondents favored Adygea, where the famous soft cheese made from cow's milk is produced. Kuban came in third place with 12% of votes. Experts note that the Krasnodar region annually supplies the market about 40 000 tons of various cheeses.

Kostroma, on the other hand, produces only 2,000 tons of cheese, but, judging by the polls, they taste better. There are 7 small cheese factories in the region, which produce their products in small batches, but prepare cheeses according to original recipes.

Earlier it was reported that the Far East has become very popular with Chinese tourists.

It became known that from June 24 to June 30 in Sochi will be held gastronomic festival "Cuisine without Borders".
