According to the report of the vice-president of ATOR Sergey Romashkin, St. Petersburg is preparing to set a new record in sales of tours for New Year holidays, writes "Forpost North-West". At the moment, by the beginning of December, the sales volume has already exceeded last year's figures by 22%. It is noted that if there are vacancies in hotels, demand may increase up to 40% relative to previous years.
Representatives of the tourism industry note that a week before the New Year the best accommodation options may already be booked. Tourists are actively booking rooms and packages for the last days of December, with the intention to visit St. Petersburg in January. Christmas tours remain in particular demand.
