The most popular Asian destination for Russian tourists is Thailand, said the CEO of tour operator Space Travel Artur Muradyan.
General Director of tour operator Space Travel Artur Muradyan said to TV channel "360" that the Asian destination, which is in high demand among Russians, is still Thailand.
He reminded that Bangkok considered the possibility of imposing restrictions on entry into the country, but later refused to do so. He also said that such countries as India and Sri-Lanka are popular among Russian tourists.
Muradyan stressed that in this case Thailand remains the leader. According to him, only 11 countries of Europe imposed ban on entry of tourists from Russia. Other states have not imposed restrictions. Direct flights to Serbia, as well as Cuba and the whole Middle East are available to Russians. The expert noted that there is also demand for tours to CIS countries.
