On the shores of the Mediterranean Sea in Egypt, a project for a new tourist ambitious center called Ras el-Hekma is maturing.
This "city of the future" is planned as a large-scale tourist complex, financial center and free trade zone with world-class infrastructure. The tourist complex will be built on the site of the current small town with a population of about 10 thousand people and will cover an araea of more than 170 square kilometers. Ras al-Hekma, located in Matrouh province on the Northern Mediterranean coast, is a historic site and a point of attraction for many.
