Cyprus continues to issue visas to all categories of tourists.
Information that over 40 Russian tourists were denied a visa in the Consulate of the Republic of Cyprus in St. Petersburg, was unreliable, reported "Izvestia" with reference to the press service of the Consulate General.
The consulate reported that Cyprus is still issuing visas to all categories of tourists. The country continues to welcome Russian travelers.
It also says that consideration of each application is carried out individually. Among other things, the consulate noted that since December 1, 2022 there are new consular fees that are imposed on all citizens of third countries, including Russia. Among other things, applicants will have to provide booked airline tickets to obtain a visa.
