Roman Pukalov, who heads environmental projects in the organization “Green Patrol”, noted that control over the cleanliness of beaches is in the competence of Rospotrebnadzor.

According to him, this agency can be fully relied on: experts conduct a wide range of daily analyses of water, soil and atmospheric air. Numerous studies, numbering in the tens of thousands, have shown that most of the resort areas of Crimea is not dangerous for vacationers.

Pukalov emphasized that personal responsibility for authorization to open beaches are specific officials. Decisions are made based on systematic measurements and assessment of the state of the environment.
