Room rates at Russian hotels for December have fallen by nearly 60 percent compared to December 2020.
The most popular destinations are Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi and Yalta.
On average, Russian hotels charge about two thousand rubles per night. A year earlier, the price was 4.8 thousand rubles.
Also in travel agencies note that about 90% of tickets for New Year holidays are made out to Russian resorts. Moreover, the cheque on air tickets has also decreased.
For example, a ticket to Moscow costs on average 4,5 thousand per person one way. Last year the average price was 5 thousand rubles, and in 2019 it was 6.5 thousand rubles.
