Tours to Egypt fell due to lower cost of transfer

Holidays in Egypt have become more affordable for Russians. This is due to a decrease in the cost of ground transportation.

This was reported in the press service of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).

The head of the Egyptian department of the tour operator company, Ekaterina Gorskaya, spoke about the decrease in the cost of ground transportation from Cairo to the resorts of the Red Sea. Earlier, 1-3 one-way tickets for a car trip cost $270, and now - $150.

It is noted that after the transfer fell in price, the demand for tours to Egypt increased significantly.

"For the most part, tourists are not ready to spend seven to eight hours moving from Cairo to the coast. However, trips to Egypt through the capital are already selling well due to the fact that many areas are closed," added Ekaterina Gorskaya.
