High cost is main reason not to go to Russia for Europeans

While the borders remain closed, experts decided to find out what is an obstacle for European tourists to choose Russia for holidays.

Specialists of the National Agency for Financial Research (NAFI) interviewed 2.1 thousand Europeans from almost three dozen states. It turned out that the high cost of the trip is an obstacle for the most. A large amount is spent on the trip, including on movement within the country.

In addition, European tourists who managed to visit Russia complain about the low level of infrastructure development and the unpretentiousness of local residents.

So, one in five respondents said that visiting Russia is too expensive for him (20%). A little less respondents replied that they find other areas more interesting - 17%. The remoteness and high time costs of travel concern 15% of survey participants.

Less than 10% do not go to Russia due to the political situation, and only 5% do not visit Russia because they do not speak Russian.
