Russian tourists do not buy return tickets, waiting for the extension of non-working days

Russian tourists are waiting for the extension of non-working days, which were announced at the end of October due to the deterioration of the COVID-19 situation. They are not rushing to take back tickets from their tours home.

According to the service Tutu.ru, the peak of bookings of air tickets in Russia came on October 27-29. There were 90% more air tickets than on average during the previous week. After that, demand began to decline.

The most popular dates for flights - October, 29 and 30, these dates accounted for 26% of tickets. On November 6-7, when the weekend should end, only 9% of tickets were issued.

Not all Russian tourists have bought return tickets yet and will probably plan their return trip later.
