Stephanie will be the head referee for the match between Germany and Costa Rica. The match will take place Thursday, Dec. 1, at the El Bight Stadium, according to the FIFA press office.

Referees Karen Diaz of Maxica, Neuza Beck of Brazil and Said Martinez of Honduras have been appointed as linesmen.

This was the Frenchwoman's second worldwide achievement. In 2019, Frapper became the first woman in the world to serve as a referee at a UEFA tournament. The woman also refereed the match between Juventus and Dynamo Kiev.
