The incident occurred after April 2022. At the time, the player was playing for Manchester United. The team during an away match suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Everton.

After the end of the match, the upset Portuguese knocked the phone out of the hands of a 14-year-old and left the field. The boy's mother soon told reporters that he has autism and dyspraxia. As the woman claimed, the child sustained a mark from the blow.

An investigation into the incident was conducted, and in September the association accused the player of aggression.

"An independent panel found that his behavior was inappropriate and violent during the subsequent hearing," according to the FA website.

In addition to the suspension from two games, Cristiano will pay a fine of £ 50,000.
