Ashot Khachaturyants was elected as the new RPL president following a general meeting of the league's clubs.
It is noted that Khachaturyants, who has been acting head of the League since October 5, was the only registered candidate. The participants in the general meeting unanimously chose a functionary for the post of President of the RPL.
Khachaturyants also recommended Pavel Komantsev for the post of head of the RFU referee committee. Recall that after being elected to a new position, a functionary must leave the previous position.
However, he said that he would look after the refereeing in the League by agreement with RFU President Alexander Dyukov.
Previously, the post of head of the RPL was held by Sergei Pryadkin. He left his post of his own free will at the beginning of October. At the moment, the functionary holds a post at UEFA.
