Daniil Medvedev made it to the semifinals of the Masters tennis tournament in Rome. In the previous 1/4 final match he defeated Yannick Hanfmann of Germany.
The match lasted 1 hour and 21 minutes and ended with Medvedev's victory in two sets, 6-2, 6-2. Before that, Hanfman beat another Russian, Andrei Rublev.
In the semifinals of the tournament Medvedev will play against the winner of the pair Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece) - Borna Cioric (Croatia).
