The new head coach of the Russian national team Alexei Zhamnov revealed the term of his agreement with the Ice Hockey Federation of Russia.
The specialist stressed that everything will depend on the performance of the national team at the Olympics.
"The contract is signed until the end of the Olympics. But there is a clause for extension," Zhamnov noted.
Recall that Zhamnov's coaching staff included Sergei Gonchar, Evgeny Nabokov, Sergei Fedorov, Alexei Kudashov, Valery Kamensky and Igor Esmantovich. Ilya Kovalchuk was appointed general manager.
