Russia may host another European football championship in the near future. It could happen in the next decade.
According to Sport-Express, Russia will apply to host Euro 2032. The application will be made by Alexei Sorokin, head of the organizing committee of the Champions League final 2021/22.
Alexei Sorokin was the head of the organizing committee of the 2018 World Cup, as well as Euro-2020 in St. Petersburg. "I do not know anything about it. To get information, you should contact the RFU," Alexei Sorokin said in a comment to "Championship".
The European Championship-2024 will be held in Germany, while the host country of Euro-2028 has not yet been determined. Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Serbia and Greece (joint bid) claim to host the tournament.
