Sarah Lockett, a 25-year-old American who weighed 114 pounds, decided to change her life after a humiliating incident at a playground.
The Washington resident said that after giving birth she gained up to 114 kilograms, but she was not embarrassed by her excess weight. She was not motivated to take care of herself and the health problems that appeared along with the extra weight.
However, an incident on a walk with her 2-year-old son forced Lockett to change her life, writes NYP.
Sarah was walking her child on the playground. The toddler went down the slide and asked his mother to go for a ride, too. The woman climbed up the structure and dove into the tube. But she got stuck on the way down.
She couldn't get out of the trap slide herself. Lockett had to call her husband. Her husband helped her to get free, and after that the American began to eat right, to exercise, but the weight did not go away. After consulting a specialist, it turned out that polycystic ovaries prevented her from losing weight. Then the woman decided to have an operation to reduce her stomach. Since then, she has lost 62 kilograms.
