The supercomputer of the statistical portal Opta Sports conducted a second study of the chances of winning the national teams at the tournament a day before the start of Euro 2024, the results of which turned out to be different from the first test.
If back on May 5, the Opta computer considered the England national team to be the favorite of Euro-2024, this time the French team was chosen. The odds of its victory exceeded 18%. The English are in second place with a probability of victory of 17.9%, and the Germans closed the top three with just over 14%. The weakest team, according to Opta, remains the national team of Georgia - only 0.1% chance that the team will win at Euro 2024.
The European Championship, which will be held in Germany from June 14 to July 14, starts today. In the first match at 22:00 Germany will take on Scotland. The game will take place in Munich at the Allianz Arena, Bayern's home stadium.
