Tennis players from Russia will be able to participate in the US Open - 2022 in neutral status.
According to a statement from the U.S. Tennis Association, athletes from Russia and Belarus are allowed to participate in the US Open - 2022 in neutral status.
"The USTA will allow all players, regardless of nationality, to participate in the 2022 U.S. Open," the organization said in a statement.
It is known that the tournament will be used as a fundraiser, which will be sent to Ukraine as financial aid.
The US Open - 2022 will be held from August 29 to September 11, 2022 in New York City. The reigning champion of the tournament is Russian tennis player Daniil Medvedev.
