The women's national team of Russia was able to win bronze in the relay at the World Cup in Ruhpolding.
The Russian biathletes unsuccessfully held the 1st stage, but then they were able to correct the situation and won a medal. The Russian team included Valeria Vasnetsova, Svetlana Mironova, Irina Kazakevich and Kristina Reztsova.
The Frenchwoman won the race by a wide margin. Silver was taken by the Swedish biathletes.
