Russian midfielder Daler Kuzhayev is in France, where he is negotiating with French team Toulouse.
Kuzhayev has been a free agent since June 30 this year, when his contract with Zenit St. Petersburg expired. Earlier it was reported that Besiktas showed interest in Darel, but negotiations with the Turkish club were unsuccessful.
Darel Kuzhayev, who played for Zenit in 2017-2023, played 183 matches for the team, scored 23 goals and gave 29 assists, won five championships (2018/2019, 2019/2020, 2020/2021, 2021/2022, 2022/2023), the Russian Cup (2019/2020) and two Supercups of the country (2021 and 2022).
Last season, Toulouse finished 13th in the French Ligue 1 and won the French Cup, beating Nantes 5-1 in the final.
