The Kyrgyz national team managed to avoid defeat thanks to a goal scored at the very end of the match, at 90+6 minutes of added time. The author of the saving goal for his team was striker Kai Merk. After this game, Kyrgyzstan is in fifth place in the Group A table with eight points, while the UAE team sits in third place with 15 points.
